One day, one morning, two sunrises……..ever imagined the beauty of two sunrises in one morning? No? Me neither until I actually have experienced it.

In fact it seems impossible does it not?

How can you have two sunrises on the same day and morning? The sun rises and once it is up, it is up. Can´t turn it back down just for the sake of enjoying another one.

Well, you can't push the sun back down, but you can change and alter your position and perspective to look at things.

During one of my first deployments as a navy pilot I was introduced to the magic of two sunrises in one morning. Yes, it required a helicopter and good timing as well as the knowledge of some fundamental astrophysics about earth rotation ;-)

Starting off at some altitude at the right time you see the sun coming up - 1st sunrise - before you do a rapid descent to around a 100ft above sea level to wait for the second rise - earth curvature and rotation will sort this out for you. 

And there you are, two sunrises in one morning.

I admit, most of us will have difficulties getting their hands on a helicopter to make this happen, which is sad.

But the point of the story is

• some things may seem impossible until you actually do them.
• some things remain out of reach, accept it.
• some things are not in your control, why bother?
• some things you cannot change, accept it and move on
• everything you see depends on your attitude
• everything you see depends on your perspective

The magic in your life lies in you and your perspective and this is the only thing you can change.

Don´t quit trying.....
